Fantasy Football Scout: GW19 Scout Picks
Helsingborg have a hugely important game at home to Kalmar, while Göteborg take on Hammarby. We also see Malmö travel to Örebro in high spirits, and Norrköping trying to salvage what is left of their season at home to Östersund.

Isak Pettersson 6.4m
Last season’s top scoring keeper Isak Pettersson has struggled to make the same impact this year, mainly due to the lack of clean sheets - just three so far. He has only failed to register defensive bonus points in two games however, gathering 21 from 18 games. Östersund are showing encouraging signs lately but Norrköping should prove a stern challenge for them away from home.
Rasmus Lauritsen 7.2m
The goal scoring centre back Rasmus Lauritsen needs little introduction, having found the net on 6 occasions and supplying his teammates for an additional 4. Coupled with 25 defensive and 3 offensive bonus points, he is the highest scoring player in the game and could even attract a few armbands this Gameweek.
Piotr Johansson 4.8m
Piotr Johansson has only managed 11 appearances so far but still sits at an aesthetically pleasing 3 goals, 3 assists and 3 clean sheets. 4 double digit returns (3 of them coming in away games) indicates he has explosive potential, which could come to good use away to Helsingborg in an early relegation battle clincher.
Mohanad Jeahze 4.6m
Impressing at Mjällby during the summer, Mohanad Jeahze caught the eye and the purse strings of the people in charge at Hammarby. 3 assists, 8 offensive and 1 defensive bonus point in his last 8 games, it is likely that the clean sheets will continue to elude him at Hammarby, but the attacking output should only increase.
Tobias Sana 7.9m
A rough Gameweek 18 for Tobias Sana saw him miss a penalty and fail to capitalise on the 6 shots he had, which played a part in head coach Poya Asbaghi getting sacked - after winning just 2 games all season, drawing 11 and losing 5. No time to sulk however as Hammarby comes into town and Göteborg need the win badly, which should lead to quite a few goals as neither side tend to specialize in clean sheets.
Sören Rieks 8.8m
The only thing stopping Sören Rieks from playing a big part in our season is his lack of consistent minutes, managing just 793 so far in comparison to captain Anders Christiansen, who sits at 1205. Still averaging 6.12 points per 90, Rieks has 5 goals and 2 assists on the season and is currently selected by just under 4% of all managers in the game. Away to Örebro, assuming he gets any kind of meaningful playing time, he should deliver.
Darijan Bojanic 9.1m
Finally starting to show flashes of the brilliance demonstrated last season, Darijan Bojanic is the creative hub that runs Hammarby’s attack. 2 assists and 4 offensive bonus points from the last 3 games and traveling to an out of sorts Göteborg team who needs to go for it, Bojanic could well prosper in Gameweek 19.
Jo Inge Berget 8.8m
With 5 goals and 3 assists in his 8 last games, Jo Inge Berget has really hit his stride at Malmö. 14 shots in the last 3 also speaks volumes, though he has not managed to find the net in that period. Away to Örebro Berget looks primed for more points, even with the usual Malmö caveat of potential rotation.
Aron Jóhannsson 8.7m
Aron Jóhannsson has been struggling with injuries all season, much like last season. When fit he scores goals though, as demonstrated by netting 4 times in his 5 last appearances – despite featuring a total of just 223 minutes in that period. With an ownership of just 1.2%, he could be one to target for the run in as a differential.
Anthony van den Hurk 6.7m
He took a few games to find his feet in the new league, but since Gameweek 7 Anthony van den Hurk has contributed with 6 goals and 3 assists to his struggling Helsingborg side. Against fellow bottom dwellers Kalmar, van den Hurk will need to deliver to keep the dream of staying up alive.
Isaac Kiese Thelin 10.3m
Having left the national team a few days early per his own request, Isaac Kiese Thelin is chasing the golden boot and will be hoping to play a significant part in Malmö’s game away to Örebro. The goals look likely to keep coming for the first-choice striker at Malmö, even though Örebro keeper Oscar Jansson won’t go down without a fight.
